Alchemy Blues by Scotch & Soda

By on Aug 15, 2014

Earth, Fire, Wind, Water,Heart, by your powers combined… oh wait this is not about Captain Planet. Although he’s blue the following  is about Scotch & Soda’s latest denim project:   Last night Amsterdam based fashion brand Scotch & Soda celebrated the launch of the Alchemy Blues Project for Amsterdams Blauw, at the ‘Made My Day’ gallery in Berlin. The project  tells the story of four graphic designers whose lives revolve around their passion for denim and love for the city of Amsterdam. Inspired by Alchemy, the designers customized five Japanese selvedge trucker jackets. Free to let go of the usual way of working but keeping in mind the four basic elements of alchemy- air, earth, wind and fire, the jackets were re-imagined into four individual style pieces.
