VSCO Journal

With the release of VSCO Cam 4.0 for iOS 8 comes an accompanying iPad app as well as a new publishing platform called VSCO Journal. Journal is very photo driven and leverages visual imagery you’ve edited through VSCO to help you tell stories. The new platform will help users create long-form content with engaging photos and powerful text, helping to further the global arts community. Soon, Journal will feature Vimeo, YouTube, and SoundCloud compatibility. To kick things off, VSCO Journal will be used by The FADER as well as fashion photographer Tommy Ton where The FADER will be sharing retrospective narratives from their 15-year archive and Tommy will give an exclusive behind the scenes look at his process and philosophy on a shoot. As companies are racing to track your every movement, Jawbone’s released the UP3, the latest upgrade to their popular activity tracker. It’s got a ton of sensors, all geared to deliver the full picture of your health. The well-designed unit uses the Heart Health sensor to not only measure your heart rate, but it can also automatically track your resting heart rate and leverage that data efficiently. The UP3 is smart and learns as you use it more so it can even do things like learn the workouts you’re doing or track your true sleep stages. 2016 BMW X5 M and X6 M

Ahead of their official debuts during November’s LA Auto Show, BMW has unveiled the new 2016 BMW X5 M and X6 M. Both are entering their second generations and with that comes more aggressive design cues and increased power coming from the same 4.4L V8 M biturbo that was used the first time around. The new X5 M and X6 M dish out 567 horsepower and 553 lb/ft of torque as they catapult from 0 to 60 in 4.0 seconds with the help of the 8-speed steptronic automatic transmission. BMW’s also touting 20% better fuel consumption from the latest generations which is pretty impressive given the boost in performance. Both models are designed to perfection also. The standard BMW X5 and BMW X6 get upgraded to larger air intakes on the front while the side gills are fitted with a model badge and Air Breathers. Look for M four-tailpipe exhaust system on both while the BMW X6 M also gets a rear spoiler....
